The goal of this course is for students to have a working understanding of the neural basis of cognition, including perception, attention, learning and memory, language, executive control of behavior and social cognition.

Psch 367 Lab in Cognitive Neuroscience

The focus of this course is on experimental design, and the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data. We conduct labs on nerve conduction, electrooculogram, attention and working memory, electroencephalogram, skin conductance response, and functional near infrared brain imaging.

Psch 565 Advanced Cognitive Neuroscience
​

In this graduate seminar we critically read and discuss articles from the primary literature on perceptual decision-making, estimation of value, risk and ambiguity, matching behavior, decision confidence, temporal discounting, trust and altruism.
